Northern Ontario rock band Midnight Shine recently returned from another successful Canadian Music Week in Toronto, and are now planning for the summer and fall. More news coming soon!

Music Monday took place Monday May 1! Thousands of students across Canada united to sing together in the world’s largest single event dedicated to raising awareness in music education.

The National Aboriginal Music Countdown relaunched as the Indigenous Music Countdown. This weekly program features the Top 40 by Indigenous artists from across Canada, the US, and around the world.

Macdonald Youth Services held a ribbon cutting earlier this spring to celebrate the grand opening of their new therapeutic center in Winnipeg. Established in 1929, MYS helps children, youth, adults and family through six key program areas.

The 21st Vision Quest Conference & Trade Show took place May 16-18 in Winnipeg. Keynote presentations by Adam Beach and Kyle Nobess, and entertainment by Don Burnstick.

Summer is here, and so is Dauphin’s Countryfest! The stellar line-up this year includes Johnny Reid, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Doc Walker, and many more.
